Dr. Dan Briggs: A Leader Finding a Way and Making One for a Better Healthcare Future

By The Influential Today Magazine

In the vast and often impersonal landscape of modern healthcare, true leadership emerges not from adherence to the status quo, but from the courage to challenge it. The Influential Today Magazine is proud to recognize Dr. Dan Briggs as one of The Most Influential Healthcare Leaders You Must Follow in 2025. A highly successful entrepreneur with a diverse business portfolio, Dr. Briggs has turned his formidable skills and resources toward a singular, deeply personal mission: to fundamentally improve patient care by dismantling the financial and informational barriers that plague the system. Through his groundbreaking work at Auragens and his compassionate outreach with The Neighborhood Clinic, he is not just innovating within healthcare; he is building a new, more equitable foundation for it.

A Mission Forged in Personal Experience

To understand what drives Dr. Dan Briggs, one must first understand the experience that shaped his entire philosophy on life and medicine. While he has achieved incredible success in numerous business ventures, his current focus is not born from a desire for profit. In fact, it is his past success that affords him the unique position to lead differently. “That past success allowed me to focus my time and energy on making improvements to the established healthcare community,” he explained. “To be independent of relying on PE firms or insurance companies and allow my team to focus on patient outcomes rather than profits.”

This patient-first mandate is not an abstract business principle; it is a conviction forged in the crucible of personal crisis. “The roots of my interest stem from my own experience as young man,” Dr. Briggs shared. “At 21 I developed a brain cyst that required months in the ICU and only though the incredible intervention of science and doctors am I still here.” While science saved his life, the system left him with another life-altering burden. “It also left me hundreds of thousands in debt.”

This stark reality, experienced at a young age, created an indelible impression. “The idea that the healthcare system, and the right to life, was a tradeoff of quality of life housing, food, medicine – made a lasting impression,” he reflected. This injustice sparked a lifelong belief that has become the cornerstone of his work in the healthcare sector. “I have always believed there was a way to not sacrifice one for the other.” This conviction is the moral and ethical engine behind his ventures, driving him to create systems where quality of life and the right to life are not mutually exclusive commodities.

Auragens: Championing Transparency in Regenerative Medicine

Dr. Briggs has directed his formidable focus toward one of the most exciting yet misunderstood fields in modern science: regenerative medicine. He noted that over the last decade, terms like “Stem Cell Treatments” have become popular buzzwords, often amplified by wellness influencers on social media platforms. “But the science and the truth behind the powerful advancements in the field have remained largely hidden from the population at large,” he asserted.

He places the responsibility for this lack of clarity squarely on the shoulders of the clinical community itself. He cites “the failures of those on the clinical side of the field to publish, share and speak widely of their methods and their success” as a primary reason for public confusion and misinformation. It was this gap between powerful science and poor communication that motivated him to establish Auragens. “I established Auragens to breakdown these walls and to freely share the evidence of our successes so that misinformation can be quieted, and quality care can become a standard,” he declared.

This commitment to radical transparency is the core of Auragens’ identity and a key driver of its success. By openly publishing their methods and patient outcomes, they have not only built trust but have also set a new benchmark for the entire industry. “It is directly because of our transparency of how we achieve such incredible and consistent patient outcomes, that Auragens quickly became the standard bearer of safety and efficacy in the field,” Dr. Briggs stated.

While pioneering, the work at Auragens is built upon a solid scientific foundation. Dr. Briggs is quick to point out that they are building on decades of prior research, with stem cells first identified in the early 1900s and their primary focus, Mesenchymal Stem Cells, discovered in 1991. To advance this legacy, they “built the industry’s most accomplished and experienced team of scientists and clinicians.” This team furthers the state of the art through rigorous research and development, pioneering new methods of administration, collaborating with specialists, and adhering to meticulous protocols and follow ups to ensure “constant growth and ever improving outcomes across the board.”

“Find a Way or Make One”: An Entrepreneur’s Approach to Innovation

Dr. Briggs’ approach to solving complex problems in healthcare is heavily influenced by his successful career across diverse sectors. He operates under a personal motto, a Latin phrase that perfectly encapsulates his determined mindset: “Aut inveniam aut faciam,” which translates to, “I shall either find a way or make one.”

This philosophy frees him from the constraints of conventional thinking. He believes that regardless of the industry, once a need or opportunity is identified, “the barrier to success comes down to execution.” To that end, he approaches every challenge with a commitment to seeing it with fresh eyes, refusing to “allow the any dogma or prior approach of others influence the direction I take.” His method is one of supreme clarity and focus. “By making the outcome or objective clear, removing any existing constraints of approach, real or imagined, you are able to create the best line of attack with the soundest approach between point A and point B,” he explained. This entrepreneur’s mindset, focused on direct and effective execution, is a powerful disruptive force in an industry often hampered by bureaucracy and outdated protocols.

The Neighborhood Clinic: Healthcare as a Fundamental Right

Perhaps nowhere is Dr. Briggs’ commitment to serving humanity more evident than in his founding of The Neighborhood Clinic. This non-profit organization was established with a clear and vital mission: “to provide access to healthcare for to all regardless of status or geography.” He identified a critical failure in the American system, namely “a deficit of healthcare professionals across the USA and a glaring absence of healthcare clinics in lower income neighborhoods,” and created a direct solution to care for the nation’s most vulnerable populations.

The first location was strategically opened at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission to serve the unhoused community. “With no access to transportation many had not had any meaningful healthcare in years,” Dr. Briggs noted. The impact was immediate and profound. “Within months of opening, we saw the impact on not only their physical wellbeing but their mental as well.” This successful model has since fueled an ambitious expansion, with The Neighborhood Clinic acquiring locations in Arizona, Texas, Florida, and additional sites in Nevada. The vision is national in scope, with a goal “to have 250 open locations in the coming years.”

The True Measure of Success: Individual Patient Triumphs

For a leader with so many ventures and accolades, Dr. Briggs’ definition of success is deeply personal and grounded in human impact. While he appreciates the awards and recognition on behalf of his teams, he is most proud of the moments that happen away from the spotlight. “It is the unseen and unpublicized aspects that I am most proud of,” he confessed. “The patients we are able to help on a daily basis.”

His pride is not in abstract numbers, but in specific, life-altering stories of recovery and hope. He speaks of “the grandfather who comes to us as a last hope and sees his quality of life return,” and “the mother who has searched for answers to her child’s illness that we are able to give answers to and provide a path to recovery.” He finds fulfillment in helping “the person who is told that they just need to ‘learn to cope’ who we provide new solutions and recovery for and return them to the capable state they thought would only be a memory.” For Dr. Briggs, the ultimate achievement is clear: “Every individual outcome and improvement of our patients I take incredible pride in.”

Creating the Future: Curing the “Incurable”

Looking ahead, Dr. Briggs sees a future for medicine that is “beyond exciting.” He positions his team not as passive participants preparing for change, but as the very architects of that future. “We, as a team, are incredibly fortunate to not only be preparing for what’s next but be creating that path,” he stated. With breakthroughs spanning women’s health, orthopedics, pulmonary, neurological, and cardiovascular care, he believes we have reached a pivotal moment in medicine. “We have reached the nexus where we are seeing the results and curing the ‘incurable.’”

His vision for the near future is bold and transformative. “In the not too distant future what have been deem chronic and lifelong ailments, we aim to make a memory.” And in keeping with his core philosophy of transparency, the final step is to share these monumental achievements with the world, creating “a standard of care and quality assurance that will permanently improve the human condition.”

Dr. Dan Briggs stands as a powerful example of what is possible when entrepreneurial acumen is combined with a deep sense of purpose. He is a leader who, faced with a problem, will either find a way or make one, ensuring that the path he forges leads to better outcomes, greater transparency, and a more equitable and effective healthcare system for all.
